Registered Psychologist with the Singapore Register of Psychologists (SRP) & SRP-Approved Supervisor
Full Member of the Singapore Psychological Society (SPS)
Master of Clinical Neuropsychology, Macquarie University
Bachelor of Social Sciences (Psychology), National University of Singapore
I am a registered Clinical Neuropsychologist and Certified ADHD Life Coach with experience in public and private healthcare institutions.
I also provide clinical supervision to psychologists and training to other healthcare professionals.
I conduct neuropsychological assessments, provide treatment recommendations and cognitive rehabilitation for individuals with a wide variety of brain-based disorders across the lifespan.
My interest in ADHD emerged when I observed an increasing number of patients seeking an ADHD diagnosis in the hospital. I started seeing more patients for ADHD assessments, who would then ask me “what now?” after the assessment was completed. As such, I decided to undergo training and become an ADHD Life Coach so that I could address the “what now?”. I firmly believe that individuals with ADHD can lead a fulfilling and productive life. I would love to journey with you towards becoming the best self you can be.
In my free time, I volunteer with Unlocking ADHD, a local non-profit organization aimed at supporting ADHDers.
I also enjoy spending time with my dog, hunting for the best coffee spots, and indulging in self-care.
Neuropsychological Assessment
Neuropsychology is a field of psychology that focuses on the relationship between behavior and brain function.
A neuropsychological assessment is the most thorough and objective method for assessing for cognitive deficits and/or academic difficulties.
Neuropsychological assessments can be conducted for:
-
Neurodevelopmental disorders (e.g. ADHD, autism, intellectual disability)
-
Neurodegenerative disorders (e.g. dementia, mild cognitive impairment)
-
Acquired brain injury (e.g. stroke, traumatic brain injury)
This is done with a battery of standardized tests and detailed interview.
A final report is provided which can guide future treatment planning & assist with obtaining accommodations.
ADHD Life Coaching
For adolescents and adults
ADHD Coaching has been proven to improve symptoms, executive function, overall wellbeing, self-esteem and quality of life.
An ADHD Coach is trained to help individuals with ADHD understand how their brain works, discover solutions that minimize their challenges, and learn a whole new set of skills and strategies to increase self-regulation and better manage their emotionality.
By working collaboratively with clients to address specific needs and goals, an ADHD Coach can help clients to better manage their lives and live out their potential.
This service can be provided face-to-face or virtually.
Cognitive Rehabilitation / Stimulation
Cognitive rehabilitation/stimulation
comprises of an individualized program of strategy training and cognitive exercises.
This could involve cognitive exercise sheets or brain training games.
Cognitive stimulation refers to a set of strategies and materials used to stimulate and engage individuals, especially for persons with dementia, to maintain and preserve cognitive functioning.
Cognitive rehabilitation refers to a range of interventions aimed to improve cognitive functioning in individuals with cognitive impairment (from acquired brain injuries such as traumatic brain injury or stroke) to improve and restore normal functioning, or to compensate for cognitive deficits.

WHAT HAPPENS IN A NEUROPSYCHOLOGICAL ASSESSMENT?A detailed interview is conducted with you (and typically a close, trusted individual) to understand you better as well as your symptoms. Comprehensive standardized neuropsychological tests are then conducted to examine your cognitive profile.
-
HOW LONG DOES A NEUROPSYCHOLOGICAL ASSESSMENT TAKE?The length of the assessment depends on multiple factors, such as type of assessment and complexity of the case. For IQ testing, a single 3-hour session is sufficient. Multiple sessions might be required for a comprehensive developmental assessment, such as for learning disabilities or ADHD.
-
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER A NEUROPSYCHOLOGICAL ASSESSMENT?After the assessment, you will be provided with feedback and a written report, including clear recommendations and/or interventions. Referrals to other professions (e.g. speech therapist, occupational therapist) will also be recommended, if appropriate.
-
DO YOU NEED AN ADHD DIAGNOSIS TO UNDERGO COACHING?You do not need a prior diagnosis. Anyone with difficulties managing ADHD/ADHD-like symptoms will benefit from coaching.
-
HOW MANY SESSIONS OF ADHD COACHING IS RECOMMENDED?Coaching success is typically seen after 6 months. It takes a long time to shift longstanding habits! It is recommended to commit to coaching weekly or once every 2 weeks for at least 3 months.
-
HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR THE ASSESSMENT/SESSION?For neuropsychological assessment: Have a good night’s rest. Bring along any neuroimaging records (if applicable). For ADHD assessments, bring along your school report books. For ADHD Coaching: It would be helpful to prepare what you wish to say or ask during the session. Come with an open mind!
